Details of my web design costs are below - I do not use site templates, my websites are created from scratch which is what you pay me for, not just to paste your details into a template! My sites are developed with Search Engine Optimisation, I don't know why a designer would develop a site without it or ask you to pay more for it!
My pages are built with minimum HTML allowing quick downloads and layout is controlled via Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) rather than tables. I also now check my pages against the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C - the web standards and guidelines developers) validator - try if yourself at http://validator.w3.org/ and type in the web address you want to check - eg this page would be http://www.twrsjhosting.co.uk/design.html (this is the address listed in your address bar).

The prices are inclusive of up to 4 images (provided by you) per page, the design of a simple logo and VAT! If you would like me to take photos for you, then this can be arranged at extra cost dependant upon your requirements. For example, for a B&B website, taking pictures of the house and rooms etc would cost £30 for up to 10 photos.

I offer a free, no commitment visit (within 25 miles) to discuss your needs with you. If you instruct me to develop your site, we will agree costs upfront and I will not produce my final bill until you are content with your site. Please note that there is a limit to the amount of tweaking I can do once we have agreed the design but I will let you know should we approach that limit!

I require 33% upfront and, if required, we can agree stage payments in line with staged site development to spread the cost and to get you on-line sooner.

For accommodation providers, I have designed and developed my own availability information system which has a perpetual calendar (ie updates itself automatically at the end of each month) with bespoke login and content management system so you get the facilities you want. Our B&B website displays information 1 month at a time but this can be altered to display up to a full 12 months if required.
